Sugar Ray Leonard (b. May 17, 1956) gained international recognition when he won the light-welterweight boxing gold medal at the 1976 Olympics. Over the next 25 years, he built a boxing career that cemented his legacy as one of the best fighters of all time. Trained by the same man who trained Muhammad Ali, Angleo Dundee, Leonard won numerous world titles and was the first boxer to earn more than $100 million in purses. Leonard spent his teenage years in Maryland’s Prince George’s County, just outside of Washington, DC. He later owned this house, located at 10415 Stapleford Hall Drive, in Potomac, Maryland.
