2613 Dumbarton St NW
Washington, DC
Dominque Strauss-Kahn (b. April 25, 1949) is a French Socialist Party politician who became the head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in 2007. He is known for his political savvy, firm grasp of economics and finance, and womanizing. He was once poised to take on France’s Nicolas Sarkozy for the presidency, but his trajectory changed drastically in 2011. He was accused of sexually assaulting a hotel maid in New York and, though the charges were later dropped, he resigned from his position at the IMF. A few months after his resignation, Strauss-Kahn put his Georgetown home, located at 2613 Dumbarton Street NW, on the market for $5.2 million. This Federal-style brick house was built in 1900 and has three bedrooms and four bathrooms.
